BackupLatte is preparing to launch. Account creation and backups are not available yet. Join the waitlist for updates.
Deleting your data
You decide how long BackupLatte keeps your data. This page lists every way to remove it and what each one removes.
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Shorten retention | Snapshots older than the new period are deleted at the next daily cleanup. See Retention. |
| Disconnect a workspace | Backups stop and the Linear access token is deleted. Snapshots stay until retention deletes them. |
| Delete a workspace | The workspace, its backups and restore records are removed at once; its stored files are deleted from storage within 2 days. |
| Cancel your plan | Backups and restores stop at the end of the billing period. Snapshots stay and keep expiring under retention. |
| Delete your account | Everything: the account, all workspaces and all backups, within 30 days. |
Delete a workspace
- Open the workspace and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete workspace and confirm.
This cannot be undone. Download any snapshot you want to keep first (see Snapshots and downloads). Deleting a workspace in BackupLatte does not change anything in Linear.
Delete your account
Email [email protected] from the address of the account.
- From the moment deletion starts you can no longer sign in, connect workspaces or buy a plan.
- A subscription that can still renew must be cancelled first.
- The account, all its workspaces and all backups are deleted within 30 days.
Download anything you want to keep before you ask.
Remove access in Linear
You can also revoke BackupLatte's access from Linear's settings, under the applications you have authorised. BackupLatte then cannot read or write the workspace; snapshots already taken stay in BackupLatte until retention deletes them or you delete the workspace.
