Storage
Every plan includes storage for your snapshots: 3 GB per member of the plan's limit, shared by all the workspaces you connect.

What counts
- The data of every snapshot you keep.
- The files copied from Linear, each file once — however many snapshots link to it.
The Stored tile on the dashboard shows how much you use and how much is left. In a workspace's backups list, +X new under a backup's size is what that backup added.
When storage is full
Backups keep running. Files that are not stored yet are no longer copied, and those backups are marked Partial, with the Files set listing the files skipped because of the storage limit. Everything else in them is complete and can be restored.
Storage is checked when a backup starts copying files, so backups running at the same time can go slightly over the limit.
Freeing up space
- Shorten the retention of a workspace: older snapshots are deleted at the next daily cleanup (03:00 UTC), and files no snapshot links to any more go with them.
- Delete a workspace you no longer need (see Deleting your data).
- Or upgrade your plan: storage grows with it immediately.
Once you are under the limit, the next backup copies the files that were skipped.
