Account & billing

BackupLatte is preparing to launch. Account creation and backups are not available yet. Join the waitlist for updates.

Plans and billing

BackupLatte is a monthly subscription priced by the number of active members in the Linear workspaces you connect. There is no free tier and no trial: creating an account is free, backups and restores need a plan.

Prices are in USD before taxes. Every plan has the same features: daily backups at your hour, archived items, restore, ZIP downloads and retention up to 365 days.

How active members are counted

BackupLatte measures the count during backups and once a day. Billing shows the current count against your plan's limit and when it was last checked (before the first backup it says measured after the first backup).

Subscribe

  1. Open Billing and choose Choose … on a plan.
  2. Pay in the checkout. Paddle, our Merchant of Record, handles the payment, calculates taxes and issues the invoice.
  3. Back in BackupLatte, the plan becomes active once Paddle confirms the payment. The billing page refreshes by itself.

Change your plan

With an active subscription, each other plan offers Switch to …. Before anything changes, the app shows what it means for you: the amount due now, any credit for unused time, and your next payment. The change takes effect immediately, including the new member limit and storage. An upgrade is prorated and charged at once; a downgrade is prorated as a credit applied at your next billing date.

Over the member limit

If your active members grow past your plan's limit, you have 7 days to upgrade or reduce them. Billing shows the date. Backups keep running during that time; after it, new backups and restores may be blocked until you are within the limit again. Downloads are never blocked.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it and backups continue for 7 days. Billing shows Past due and the date to update your payment method by. If payment still has not arrived, new backups and restores stop until it does.

Invoices, payment methods and cancellation

Manage billing opens Paddle's customer portal, where you can update your payment method, download invoices and cancel.

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep full access until then. After that, backups and restores stop, but your workspaces and snapshots stay: snapshots keep expiring under your retention settings and can be downloaded until they do.

Refunds

The first payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refunds are processed by Paddle; details are in the Refund Policy. Payment and invoice questions can also go directly to Paddle at paddle.net.
